WARRANTY DISCLAIMER
& TERMS
All engines supplied by Metal Nexus Automotive are covered by a limited warranty of 3 (three) months from the original invoice date, subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions set out below.
1. Professional Installation
The engine must be installed by a suitably qualified, certified, and experienced engine technician or accredited mechanical workshop. The installation must be carried out in accordance with the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) specifications and accepted industry standards.
2. Proof of Installation
Any warranty claim must be accompanied by proof of professional installation, including but not limited to:
- A valid installation invoice.
- The name, contact details, and registration (where applicable) of the technician or workshop.
- Any supporting documentation reasonably requested to assess the warranty claim.
Failure to provide satisfactory proof of installation may result in the warranty claim being declined.
3. Warranty Coverage
This warranty is limited to defects in materials or workmanship that are directly attributable to the supplied engine when used under normal operating conditions and maintained in accordance with the manufacturer’s recommended service intervals and specifications.
Where a valid warranty claim is accepted, Metal Nexus Automotive reserves the sole right to inspect, assess, repair, replace, or authorise repairs to the engine, as deemed appropriate.
4. Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover any damage, failure, or defects arising from or relating to:
- Incorrect, improper, or incomplete installation.
- Failure to follow manufacturer installation procedures or torque specifications.
- Negligence, abuse, racing, overloading, or abnormal operating conditions.
- Overheating, lubrication failure, oil starvation, coolant loss, contamination, or insufficient maintenance.
- Use of incorrect oils, lubricants, fuels, coolants, or other fluids.
- Failure of external or ancillary components, including but not limited to turbochargers, fuel systems, injectors, sensors, ECUs, cooling systems, radiators, thermostats, water pumps, oil pumps, belts, hoses, electrical systems, or any component not supplied by Metal Nexus Automotive.
- Modifications, tuning, performance upgrades, or operation outside the manufacturer’s recommended specifications.
- Accidental damage, fire, flooding, impact, theft, vandalism, or any external event beyond the seller’s control.
- Normal wear and tear, consumable items, seals, gaskets, belts, filters, spark plugs, fluids, or routine maintenance items unless proven to have failed due to a manufacturing defect in the supplied engine.
5. Inspection Prior to Installation
The purchaser is responsible for inspecting the engine upon receipt and before installation. Any visible transport damage, missing components, or discrepancies must be reported immediately and before the engine is installed. Installation of the engine constitutes acceptance that the engine was received in satisfactory condition.
6. Warranty Claims Procedure
Should a fault arise during the warranty period, the purchaser must notify Metal Nexus Automotive immediately and discontinue use of the engine where continued operation could reasonably result in further damage.
The purchaser may not authorise repairs, dismantle, modify, or replace the engine without prior written approval from Metal Nexus Automotive, as doing so may invalidate the warranty.
7. Limitation of Liability
The liability of Metal Nexus Automotive under this warranty is strictly limited to the inspection, repair, replacement, or credit of the supplied engine, at its sole discretion.
Under no circumstances shall Metal Nexus Automotive be liable for:
- Labour or installation costs.
- Removal or refitting costs.
- Vehicle recovery or towing charges.
- Transportation or courier expenses.
- Vehicle hire or alternative transport.
- Loss of income, business interruption, or downtime.
- Loss of profits or consequential damages.
- Any indirect, incidental, or special damages arising from the use or failure of the engine.
8. Warranty Void
This warranty shall automatically become null and void if:
- The engine is installed by an unqualified or uncertified person.
- The engine is modified, dismantled, or repaired without prior written approval.
- Manufacturer installation or maintenance procedures are not followed.
- Required supporting documentation cannot be provided.
- The engine has been subjected to misuse, abuse, neglect, or improper maintenance.

By purchasing, accepting delivery of, or installing the supplied engine, the purchaser acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted these Warranty Disclaimer & Terms and agree to be bound by them.
